Out of gratitude Sugriva with his monkey army and Hanuman crossed over an ocean to free Sita held captive in Lanka.
Bhima in awe of his strength ordered Hanuman to make way for him. Kings did not beg ! Hanuman paid no heed. Bhim put in all his strength to move the monkey by his tail. The Vayu putra realised his folly. Hanuman introduced himself. Bhim prostrated and sought his blessings.
Hanuman directed Bhim to the pond that had the lotuses but was guarded by fearsome demons.
